You can enable or disable the preview at will using a toggle on the page itself. The new layout should make it easier to understand recent events, but it's still missing some features, so it's in preview right now. The Events tool has been redesigned, and it's the first time the event viewer is getting some major changes since 1993. Microsoft has also made it possible to pop-out different tools into separate windows. Privacy settings are also more easily accessible in the Diagnostic & Feedback tab, letting users control what diagnostic data is collected by Microsoft. The latest release also adds support for gateway proxies in the Proxy tab.
